The day was young but Bullet was already up and about, anxious for the events that were to come. The battle was going to happen today, he could feel it in his bones, and he wasn't looking for it-- that's for sure. He was regretting the moment the two packs met, he had a feeling he would lose some of his packmates. And that would be a great loss to everyone, no matter who it was that was killed. The Akali Wolf Pack was a very close collection of wolves, they had gone through so much together, no one would like it if their friend died. Or, that's what he hoped. Bullet found himself wandering through The Clearing-- the place of many memories. He could recall the day this plain was painted scarlet, the dirt stained with blood when the two packs had clashed. The time when Rolin was killed, slaughtered by the evil and blood-thirsty Seul, the sorrow that followed. The packs had never finished their fight, the hatred between the two had grown over the seasons. And today was the day the fight will contuine. And Rolin is still in the middle of it, Bullet thought with grim amusement. Can that boy ever stay out of trouble? So Bullet was just wandering aimlessly, he had no where to go at the moment and why stay at camp where the tesion was too high to manage?

Streak padded quietly into the clearing, not wanting to disturb Bullet. Bullet was aging, so he must be worried about the coming battle. Also, his nephew was in trouble. She slipped silently through the shadows to stand by his side. The wind blew towards her, making her unscentable. She stared up at the sky, wishing that she could make some omen in the stars that would cheer Bullet up. But she knew that nothing she said or did would make a diffrence. Then the wind shifted, blowing her scent towards him.

Bullet was surprised when Streak's scent washed over his nose, his ears pricked and he turned slowly around to face the black and blue wolf. Streak, He greeted her an attempt to make his voice sound cheerful makig his voice sound old and weary. He was tired, so much had happened lately, so much sorrow was throwing itself on his shoulders. My friend, come, sit by me. So old, so very old, came his thoughts and he pushed them away with a slight shake of the head. Sure, he was old, but he was strong. How are you my dear friend? Has time caught up with you yet? He had so many questions to ask her, he hadn't seen or spoken to her in ages it seemed. But he didn't want to press her with too many words-- he didn't feel like having a deep coversation anyways. Too much to worry about, too much to think about. And so much to cry about.

Streak shook her head. "Nah, I've got some years left ahead of me. Plenty of time to make a fool of myself, I'm sure." She gave a lopsided smile. She sat down by Bullet. Three stars twinkled in the sky, not by Streak's doing. She let out a soft murmer. "Your mates and pup are watching over you Bullet. They will walk beside you, pelts glittering with starlight, pawsteps powered with godly strength, eyes gleaming with love, untill it is your time to walk with them. And you still have Sora, Phionex, and her pups." Shaking herself, she lept to her paws. "C'mon! Stop moping! Let's practice for the battle!"

Bullet nodded at her friend's response, it was only to true. Streak was still young, a still failrly new mother and a very good friend. Nah, I've got some years left ahead of me. Plenty of time to make a fool of myself, I'm sure. He had to laugh at her last statement, of course Streak would say something of that sort. Always trying to make others laugh-- that was Streak for ya! I wouldn't count on that, my friend. His voice was calm, a sad tone unmistakable there. He noticed three stars above, shining brightly-- perhaps they were the past members of the Akali Wolf Pack...? It didn't seem like his companion was making the stars appear, she was relaxed and calm. Didn't using a power take some effort? Well, Bullet would never know. He had never eared a power-- why, he would never know. But he wouldn't have cared much for one either, it seemed tiresome and too much work was put into one in his opunion. Your mates and pup are watching over you Bullet. And you still have Sora, Phionex, and her pups. So Streak had picked up on Bullet's depressing mood, not that he had had his doubts. Streak was smart enough to sense if someone wasn't happy, anyone can do that. Yes, I know. He said, trying to make his statement short and quick. But he found his voice leaking out, although he tried to stop it. It's just that-- Oh nevermind, I shouldn't waste this time talking; we have a battle to practice for. Get yourself ready Streak! Managing a weak smile, he hopped to his feet, stepped back a few paces and tensed for a leap. Sure, he was growing older, but that didn't mean he couldn't fight! He waited, tensed for the practice ahead, Streak would leap at him anytime now...

Streak circled quickly aroud Bullet, and leaped at him, wagging her tail in anticipation. This was going to be fun! She calculated his dodge by the way he was leaning, and she sent down small, harmless astroids at him. Streak landed on his shoulders, and felt the astroids raining down on her. She called them off quicly, and grabbed Bullet's scruff in her mouth.

Hola everyone! I'm just poppin' in to say hi! But really guys-- activity here has dropped and I have no idea why... 0_o I'm gonna try to get some advertising here so we can get some more members but we need our orginial members to step up and roleplay some!! :D The battle is going to be happening soon so we need to start posting again! :D Thanks everyone!
