^{Rolin's heart broke as Alice, weeping, bounded away from him. Did she think he liked someone else? He glanced at Khaynen and back at where Alice had once stood. Alright Khaynen... but you have to promise me that you will come back to camp with me. His voice broke partically, at the thought of Alice crying at camp.}

"Alright..." Khaynen whispered shakily, and rose to his paws."I'll go back I suppose, but I'm doing this for you." Khaynen's tail still drooped with depression, but he looked better.

^{Rolin smiled his widest smile, glad to have his friend by his side. How about this, He said as he led the way back to Camp. You stand by me while I try to make it up to Alice, and I'll stand by you while you try to make it up to Fern. The suggestion seemed reasonable, and Rolin would like it if Khaynen could be there by him while he tried to speak with Alice.}

when alice woke up she ran back over to the spot she sed to roiln we can be best friends if you want? she walked closer to him staring in to his eyes if that makes you happy she sed. by now she stoped crying and calmed down

Khaynen stepped back nervously, but quickly came up by Rolin's side. He smiled to Alice, although all of his senses told him to run away, but he stayed put. Rolin's offer was very reasonable, and he'd go by it.

Khaynen smiled, turning to Rolin.
"She really does love you." Khaynen whispered."I think I'll give it another go with Fern. Maybe when she's done helping Ice with her pups... You know, when Ice's pups are older..."

^{Rolin smiled, relieved that Alice wasn't angry at him. He turned to Khaynen, his smile growing bigger. I'm glad, Khaynen. I'm sure Fern will see the real potiental in you, and you will be happier than a squirrel who found an acorn tree.}

"I don't know.. can I find a tree full of dead squirrel instead?" Khaynen barked jokingly. He laughed at his own joke, his eyes full of play.

"Hey Rolin, I'm feeling so much better, thanks to you." Khaynen sighed."I'm going to head back now. Toodles!"
Khaynen dashed away, without wating for a reply.

^{Rolin smiled, glad that Khaynen was feeling better. Glad to help! He called after him as he disappeared and he turned back to the center of Camp. He saw Bullet eyeing him from the edge of the Clearing and padded over. What's that look for? Rolin wanted to know. It's just you look and sound like your mother at times, it just shows me once agian you are my sister's son. And I'm glad I can be your uncle. Bullet nuzzled Rolin on the head. Speaking of Mom, have you seen her? Rolin asked after licking Bullet respectfully on the nose. Come to think of it, no. Bullet's eyes flickered with alarm for a few moments but he quickly blinked it away. Let's go look for her. And the two trotted off towards the Forest.}
