Falcon smiled at Arlen, then Binde. He tried not to look too badly injured, for him being new would attract enough attention to himself. He forced himself not to limp, but soon, the pain was too great and he went on, gritting his teeth. "Which one's the alpha?" Falcon asked, scanning all the wolfs in sight. He padded onward, grateful beyond belief to have something other than pain and suffering in his life.

Fydo's the one on the rock... Binde replied. But instead of leading him towards the leader, Arlen was pushing, although she was doing it gently, towards her small den. You can talk to the alpha as soon as your ready to walk without limping. There was a hint of amusement in her voice, although it was small. In a few steps they reached the entrance to the den, a smaller den then normal. Arlen didn't expect to be having any vistors in a while, although she had been working on enlargering it now with the pups gone. Binde, thanks. I think you should go the Meeting now, your most likely missing alot. Binde looked at Falcon one last time before padding swiftly out of the den. Lay down, Falcon, it'll hurt less. Arlen suggested, turning to face her patient. This will be a long day...

"Okay, but are you sure the alpha would be okay with this?" he said, following Binde with his eyes as he lay down again. "Those poppy seeds really helped, thank you." Falcon let his eyes slip away from Binde to Arlen, then back down at his leg. He started self-consiously groooming himself, he hated the smell of blood, and didn't want to look this matted either.

Arlen watched his eyes, attached to the figure now disappearing into the crowd, and couldn't help feeling jelous. Falcon likes Binde. And Binde likes Falcon... She shook her head slightly and nodded furiously. Don't you worry, Falcon. Fydo is most likely the nicest alpha you will ever meet. He doesn't like to fight or hurt anyone and he'll defiently won't mind me helping you. She spoke with a confidence she hardly knew and she felt herself warm slightly. She loved healing others, she wanted to do this as her role in the pack. She would ask Fydo as soon as Rolin and the others were found, she would make sure she would. Poppy seeds ease the pain, but they also make you slighly drowsy, Arlen spoke in a matter-of-fact way. You'll be asleep within a few minutes, or you should. Once your asleep I can look at that leg with more care. As she was speaking, she was moving gracefully around her den, picking up herbs and organizing her piles.

"Okay, thanks alot Arlen." said Falcon, watching her retreat farther into her den. He looked at all the piles of herbs, berries, and various poultices around him. His eyes had found their way to Binde again. Falcon watched her as she moved closer toward the other wolfs. There was somthing about her.... It made falcon feel somthing he'd never felt before. The soon-to-be Akali wolf couldn't quite put his paw on it; but what ever it was, he was glad it was there.

Arlen, out of the corner of her eye, spotted Falcon watching Binde carefully. Falcon, she wanted to inquire. But she only thought the question as she focused her blue eyes back on her herbs. What does it feel like? Soon she was deep into her fanasty, imagining the two in a flower-filled feild He would act surprised, no doubt and then I'll clarify with a quiet, love. He would smile, a small embarressed smile, and then just shrug. Sure, it wouldn't help my quest, but I guess I'll just have to wait to find someone who was right for me. Binde and Falcon are right for each other. There's no doubt about that... Something inside stirred. Something that had been hidden for a long time. And the remembered... A brown face with open green eyes. Staring at her with affection deep inside. One silent tear rolled down her cheek, but she pushed it roughly aside. Back still facing her patient she watched as the cobwebs clung to the salty water.

Noticing than Arlen saw him watching Binde, he wrenched his gaze away from the somehow captivating she-wolf. He shot a friendly glance at Arlen, who had a look full of longing and sorrow. The poppy seeds were making him even more tierd. Falcon rested his eyes on Binde, put his head on his paws, and fell asleep.
(Dreaming) Falcon awoke in a field he wasn't familar with. He saw a moving figure in the distance, it was Binde. He stood up, and started running towards her. His wounds were gone, and he was in full health. Falcon skidded to a stop in front of Binde. He lowered his head to rub his muzzle with hers. But as soon as he touched Binde, she vanished, and another wolf was in her place. He had a deep hatred for this wolf. He was the leader of the pack his family abandoned him for. He snarled vicously, putting his weight on his haunches. Falcon lunged at his victum, sinking his teeth deep into his shoulders. The other wolf yelped, then snapped at Falcon's tail, but he wasn't fast enough. After a few more minutes of tusseling, Falcon was pinned down and batting at the wolf's belly with his hind legs. Suddenly, he felt teeth fasten in his neck, then everything went black....
(Real World) He woke with a start, then jumped up. Panting, he looked around anxiously. 'I've really overslept', he thought as he saw the sky. He stretched out his stiff limbs, and he could feel hardly any pain at all. He lied down again, and finished grooming himself.

Arlen smiled as Falcon slowly drifted off to sleep, trying to push away the depressing thoughts of her past. As the male slept she began to work swiftly on the leg, within a few minutes it was almost fully healed. Arlen hadn't noticed she too had fallen asleep until something stirred. Falcon. Suppressing a yawn, she moved to her patient's side. I worked on your leg while you slept, Falcon. It'll still hurt, but you should be able to walk around now. She glanced outside, the rescue mission will be leaving soon... [/sup]

"Thanks" said Falcon, testing out his leg. "I can hardly feel anything." he looked outside the den, and saw a group of worried and anxious wolfs in the distance. "What's going on... is something wrong?" Falcon asked eagerly as he saw them.
OOC: He sees the rescue party.

Arlen sighed inwardly. Should she relay all of the pack's information to this loner? But, then again, She thought. He'll be an Akali Wolf before you know it... I shouldn't really be worrying you with all of this but, since you really want to know... She paused and looked at her paws as she spoke. Three pups went out exploring this morning, or they went out to play. I guess they wandered to far or the Dark Assassins caught them... either way they haven't returned. Everyone figures that the Assassins captured Rolin, Alice, and Malik, but know one is certain. Fydo's sending out a rescue mission to go and get our pups back, he'll do anything for those fluff-balls, and fight for them if it comes to that. She spoke without emotion, she didn't want to give her opunion in her words. Falcon wanted the facts, and that's what he was given.

"Did you say the Assassians?" Falcon said with a worried look. "An evicted wolf from their pack almost killed my brother and I when we were pups." He looked away, hiding saddnes and suffering that alway came with bringing up his past. "Well, anyway..." he said shakily "I hope they're okay."

Oh. Arlen spoke softly, sympothy in her voice. I'm sorry... Flame... Leo... where are they now? She had tried, oh how she had tried, to keep those words from her mind but as Falcon spoke of his family they came rushing in, breaking down the poorly fortified wall to her inner thoughts. Where did they run off to? Leaving me here? Akali's a great home, a very friendly pack, but I want my family... did they take a sibbling with them? Do I have a long lost sister or brother that I don't even know about? How can they be so cruel? To leave me... To /abondon/ me... They'll be fine. She said aloud, distant. I'm sure of it... Her voice yet again held no emotion, she was only half aware of her surrondings and the words coming from her mouth. [/sup]

Falcon walked over to her and tried to comfort her, seeing the disstressed look on her face. He could tell she had a hard past to. "It's okay.... you can't change the past, but you can keep your future happy with the right attitude." said the wolf, who was fighting back tears himself. "You wouldn't belive the things I went through....." wispered Falcon.

Arlen turned to look at Falcon, now standing beside her. You're a very wise wolf, Falcon. And very friendly as well. Thank-you. She smiled at him, a sweet smile of pure gratitude. For someone to give her advise, not some silly advise, but some true words of wisdom ment alot. She wasn't exactly sure why she was so touched, but she was. Thanks. She murmmed again, looking at her paws. Falcon, why don't you go see Fydo? I'll come with you if you want... or... Binde can help you. Her eyes were filled with amusement as she spoke to him, adding the last few words as an after-thought. She knew he would pefer Binde, of course he would, but she might as well give him a choice.

Falcon knew exactly what Arlen meant when she mentioned Binde. "Sure, I'll ask her." he said "Fydo's the blue with yellow one right?" he called as he walked out of the den.
OOC: Do I change threads, or what?
