Mysteria got off of him ad looked straight into his eyes. "I learned that move from fighting this large black wolf named Lucas. I had caught this huge, fat rabbit for supper, and I was just about to eat it when that sivlig, good-for-nothing coward attacked me. We tumbled for a while, then we broke apart. I leaped at him, then he did that move on me. After that, he got the rabbit. I practiced for a couple days till I got that one right."

I learned that move from fighting this large black wolf named Lucas. I had caught this huge, fat rabbit for supper, and I was just about to eat it when that sivlig, good-for-nothing coward attacked me. We tumbled for a while, then we broke apart. I leaped at him, then he did that move on me. After that, he got the rabbit. I practiced for a couple days till I got that one right. So you taught yourself? Bleu inquired, shifting his weight between his paws. He looked into her eyes intrested. She was telling him something that she didn't share lightly... should he do the same? He shook his head, a flash back to the past making him feel dazed and confused with reality. Evergreen, come here. Yes sir? Report. Yes sir. I have some bad news, sir. I didn't want to be the one to break it too you but... Just spit it out! The angels... they're on their way... Shaking himself back into reality, Bleu focused once more on Mysteria. He tried to listen for her answer, pivoting his ears ever so slightly. [/sup]

Mysteriua hesitated. It wasn't quite true that she taught herself. "I didn't teach myself exactly. It's more so that Lucas taught me, without realizing it. When he used that move on me, I just took it in, as you would take in a hunting technique from a parent. I simply allowed Lucas to teach me, although he was unaware."

Yes, I know what you mean. But I consider that teaching yourself... He paused, taking in this new information. And as suddenly as he had sat, he stood up again. Something inside of him stirred, bring forth a feeling that he didn't quite understand. I must leave, Mysteria. Bleu moved backwards as he spoke. If I survive the upcoming battle, I'll meet you here once more. At Moon-High, unless of course, you still here battle cries in the distance. Good day, Mysteria. He turned on his heel and trotted away, urgently away. He needed to get back to camp, and fast, if he was going to see everyone off. [/sup]

Mysteria called after "Wait!" She trotted over to him. "Do you need any help in the battle?" She would fight if they needed her. She flexed her muscles, and quickley spun onto her back, and spu back onto her paws. "I'm pretty good at fighting."

Just before he disappeared into the undergrowth he heard Mysteria's offer. He turned around and bluntly said, No, before disappearing out of view. He didn't mean to seem harsh, or rude, but he was stressed now. What type of packmember am I when I spend time with a loner when my packmembers need my support? Scolding himself, Bleu only began to run faster, urged on by his fury. He would get there in time. He knew it. But that didn't mean spending time with Mysteria was right... [/sup]

Mysteria's ears drooped. She itched to leap into battle again, to get a chance to stretch her muscles. But she would be patient. She would go get something to eat, and then she would come back here to meet Bleu again. Perhaps she would catch something for the two of them to share. With that in mind, Mysteria turned and started to trot away. Then she stopped, and turned to face Bleu again. "Bleu? Be careful." She barked loudly, so that his retreating form would hear her. She turned away and trotted off to find something to eat.

Dark blue paws found their way across Akali's territory with ease, sniffing out the stale scents of his friend across the brush. He was eager to see her again, so long ago was their last visit. Or maybe it really wasn't that long ago... but the time seperated from her was achingly slow. Was it really just a few hours ago that they had departed?
Shaking his head, the male moved gracefully through the trees, his muscular form brushing aside the undergrowth. Mysteria? He called her name softly, gently. The sound skipped and danced through the forest, the name so sweet and pure. Yes, he missed her company; more than he was comfortable with.

Mysteria heard Bleu call her name, and she began to drag her dinner towards his voice. Finally, she reached him, dragging a dead baby elk in her jaws. She dragged it up to his paws, and set it down, wagging her tail proudly. It was very young, but it was the biggest thing she had ever caught. She barked shyly, "Hey Bleu. Has the battle happened yet?" She looked him, but didn't see any blood or scratches.

Bleu stopped short, taking in the sight of a fresh meal. An entire elk? The wolf couldn't keep the surprise from his voice. How did you manage it all by yourself? He knew that Mysteria wasn't all wolf, she was part-dog it seemed and this was clearly a huge accomplishment for her. Pride made his eyes gleam, he didn't know why he should feel proud of her but he did, so he let he show.
That's great, Mysteria. You and your mate shall be happy... He trailed off then, looking past her into the woods, expecting another wolf, or dog perhaps, to be accompanying her. Because surly, such a beautiful and magestic being couldn't be living alone in the world... right?
No, the battle hasn't happened yet. I'm waiting until Fydo howls, to join in. A little disturbed that she was so interested, Bleu tried to speak about it vaguely. I don't want you to get hurt...

Mysteria let out a short bark of laughter. "Mate? No, I don't have a mate." She looked at him curiously, feeling suddenly shy. "What about you?" She suddenly wished she could swallow the words back up. It was really rude of her to ask such a personal question when she barely knew him! He was here to teach her how to hunt, nothing more. She added hastily, "You don't have to answer that if you don't want to. I don't mean to pry."

Bleu thought about if for a moment, considering the idea of telling his friend of his relationship status. She had said that he could forget the question... but what would be the point in that? She had been kind enough to answer is silly remark, he should at least give her the truthful answer.
But would that be giving in? Admiting that he was spending time with her while he could be spending time with more, at least five more she-wolfs would be like surrendering to her. Saying, I would like to get to know you more. Shaking his head, the navy blue wolf cracked a smile.
No, I don't have a lady to call my own, he said honestly with a shrug of the shoulders.

Mysteria smiled shyly. This was somewhat hard to believe. Bleu was so kind and sweet, willing to teach an intruder how to hunt. How could a wolf like that not have a mate. Mysteria decided to change the subject. "What do you think of the elk?" She asked, wagging her tail proudly. "I caught it using that technique you showed me. That was really helpful, thanks for that."
