Wildwind and Phionex

Wildwind padded up to where the dens are. He then sat down and waited for Phoniex to cach up to him

^{Phionex easily caught up with Wildwind in a matter of moments. So... She said, unsure what to do or say. She waited for her mate to think of something, since she was brain-dead at the moment.}

Wildwind smiled "well where do you want the den?" he asked her looking to her and then looked around the area as he wondered where they could have a den.

^{Phionex, suddenly relizing that they didn't have a den, quickly went into mother mode. She scrambled quickly to her feet and glanced around the area, eyes narrowed. We have to find the perfect spot, She said to herself and to Wildwind. What about... here? He pointed with her nose to a small indent in a small grassy rise.}

[Leo]

Wildwind laughed adn then looked to the spot to where she was pointing to. He smiled "I like it...do you?" he said looking to her smiling and then looked back to the spot.

^{Phionex, after further inspection of the spot, smiled broadly at him. Yes, I love it. And the ground is soft, so it will be easy to dig. She climbed the easy slope and dug her claws into the ground. Let's start digging. She said, eager to create the home for her pups, Wildwind, and her for the next season or so.}

[Leo]

Wildwind smiled and then started to dig. "Why are you so...i don't know...in like mother mode...i mean you don't have pups..." he siad looking to her and then started to dig more.

^{I'm not sure... She was overly embarresed, and hid her head from her mate. She wanted to have pups, but didn't have the courage to speak up, and tell him that. Dirt flew past her and piled up on a mound behind her. Gritting her teeth, she kept her face tucked away, pretending to shelter her face from the flying clods of mud being thrown from the ground.}

Wildwind sighed as he countined to dig "I mean i don't mind...if you want to have any..." he said still digging as he shoke his pelt to get the dirt off.

^{Phionex stopped digging and looked up, hope captured in her wide green eyes. Really? Phionex couldn't believe that Wildwind wanted to have pups with her too. She smiled broadly, and felt like she could dig to the end of the earth as long as Wildwind was by her side.}

Wildwind stoped and then looked to her "Yeah...i always wanted to be a father..." he said looking to her and then looked to the gorund as he felt a bit embarrased as he then started to dig again.

^{Well, I've only dreamed about being a mother, Phionex smiled at Wildwind, even though he wasn't looking at her. Her body wriggled with excitment as she thought about giving birth to little bundles of fur herself. To be a mother, it was beyound her wildest dreams.}

Wildwind smiled as he then pushed some dirt on her "Well then I guess we are a perfect match." he said and then nuzzeled her.

^{Phionex smiled and shook the dirt off of her with a shake of her pelt. She nuzzled deep into his fur and smiled, happier than she had been in months in seemed. Come on, pups will be in this den before long... She said, focusing back on the task at hand.}
