Ice sat on the ground next to Blaze. She blinked up at him and rubbed against him and Midnight sat with Isis near them, play-fighting. It was so quiet the whole world had seemed to be holding their breath. Just then Midnight barked, "hey, thats mine and chased Isis who had a bit of rabbit fur in her mouth. Midnight leaped onto her, sending her crashing into Blaze and Ice. Then, Midnight ran with Ice chasing them (slow of course!) Isis ran to the safety of Blaze and bared her teeth. Ice laughed but kept running after Midnight.

Come on Bardulf! You're so slow!
Kenya sprinted through the plains, far ahead of her clumsy brother. Still a pup, she herself was clumsy, but not nearly as much as her brother.
Her brown fur a blur, she ran straight towards Ice, Blaze, and Midnight. She didn't know if was them of course. At least sixty feet away, she stopped and hid in the long grass. It took Bardulf a terribly long time to catch up, but he finally did. Kenya looked over at her brother.
It's Assassins, She whispered. We have to protect Akali.
Yeah, of course. Bardulf said in-between breaths. Ready?
Set.
Go!
The two pups raced forward, Kenya pulling ahead like always, and soon reached the wolves. She lept onto Ice's back, clinging on. Bardulf, not having enough energy to jump so high, used his largely built body and rammed himself into Blaze, grunting as he did so.
Assassins! Die!

Ice laughed and shaked her back gently. "Grr...." she growled playfully. Ice growled playfully, "I'm gonna get you!" She chased them a little bit. She smiled. Turning, she waited for impact.
Isis stopped running and turned around, jumping on him. She ran into Ice and tackle Blaze. Just then, the ground shook and she lost balance. Ice felt something ripple through her body. "My powers!" she barked and then settled down, making it stop. Isis barked, "th-that was sc-scary" and shivered like a cold breeze was in the air. Ice jumped in happiness. She was the happiest she had been in many, many, months.

^{Kenya slipped under Ice's legs and headed back towards her brother who was staring at Isis in disbelief.
Bardulf, we are in the middle of an attack you can't just stan--Whoa!
The ground was shaking, Kenya yelped with fear, leaping onto her brother's back for safety. It died down in a few minutes and Kenya looked at Isis accusingly.
Why'd you do that? She asked, annoyed.
Kenya, Isis got her power. You should be happy for her! Bardfuf defended the female.
Go ahead and defend your crush, Bardulf. What-ever. Kenya stalked off, her tail swinging with irritation.
Bardulf, clearly embarrassments, hurried after his sister, blushing from his ears to his tail.}
